Epoxy quartz coatings are similar in concept to epoxy flake flooring although a coloured quartz sand mix is broadcasted instead of a decorative flake. Quartz is an extremely hard substance and is a consistent granular shape. This provides an array of application benefits including strength, thickness, colour stability and non stip properties.
Epoxy quartz is available in 2 grades fine and course. Both have excellent non slip properties and are able to meet their respective required slip ratings as per the BCA and Australian standards. This makes epoxy quartz a great choice for commercial kitchens, food processing areas, cool rooms, bin rooms wash off bays and any other area that calls for a non slip floor finish
Epoxy quartz is available in a variety of colours and like flake finshes can be used for decorative purposes. Epoxy quartz is a great option for pool surrounds, driveways., footpaths and other external areas where a mix of non slip properties and an aesthetic finish are required.
