What is Epoxy Flooring?

Epoxy resins are thermosetting polymers that consist of a resin base and a hardener. Think of the resin as three sides of a square, the hardener is the final piece of the puzzle that creates a complete chain and begins an exothermic process where the coating begins to thicken and harden. In 7 days you will be left with a coating that is harder and tougher than concrete itself!

With excellent water, chemical and stain resistance - epoxy floor coatings are truly the ultimate solution to high traffic concrete floors.

Used as a floor coating, epoxy provides ultimate adhesion over a prepared substrate providing a seamless, easy to clean and high gloss finish which will last for years to come.

Epoxy resins can be tinted to any colour and can be installed in a vast range of finishes from plain colour coatings, non slip finishes & decorative finishes such as flake floor or metallic / marble floors.

The benefits of epoxies can be furthered by the use of polyurethane and polyaspartic clear coats which act as a sacrificial protector to the epoxy and provide additional scratch resistance, UV Stability and impact resistance.
